Vegas Baby! This year Phish will play a three night Halloween run in Las Vegas, NV. Phish has a tradition of doing something very creative each Halloween building excitement and anticipation amongst their fans. Many years Phish dons a Musical Costume where they play an entire album from start to finish. Last year (2013) the band surprised their fans with a sneak preview of their forthcoming/unreleased/unrecorded album. What will they do this year? Will they perform a Musical Costume, or will they reinvent the wheel again?
In honor of Halloween and Phish’s song “Ghost” I created the “Vegas Ghost” print. It is the not so scary yet familiar friend – the Pac-man Ghost. The Ghost image was divided into tiles that contain icons representing Las Vegas (card suits, dice, poker chips, slot machine…). The bottom of the print contains a special note “Print/Design By Brian Bojo w/Thanks to Pin Me Down Designs”. For several years Pin Me Down has created amazing and clever pins based on the Pac-Man Ghost character. Out of respect for them and all of their hard work I asked permission to print prior to printing this design and they graciously approved. Check out their Pac Pins here: www.pinmedowndesigns.com.
Vegas Ghost is a three color hand pulled screen print that contains a glow in the dark white layer. The print was printed in 4 variant color/paper combinations of 25 per variant. The prints will be first offered at the Vegas Phan Art show on Nov. 1st and any remaining prints will be made available in our online store.
